14'0'' Hollow Pintail Race SUP 14'0'' X 27'' X 6 1/4'' Construction: The hollow sandwich construction is vaccum bagged with 2mm EVA, carbon fiber, 'S' cloth, and epoxy resin with a high-density foam stringer and 2 lateral struts. · Weighing in at just 26lbs the lightness for a board of this size makes this board extremly lively and responsive to turning with you feet. It also offers quicker excelleration - with less effort and less fatigue for the paddler. · This board is definitly more durable than a hand-shaped foam board. Rail scuffs are nearly elliminated - or easily removable. Paddle dings and shatters are reduced because of the hard surface contruction. Design: The hull design is a combination of a displacement hull bow that has a hard vee in the tip, transitioning into a planning hull and a slightly rolled bottom with soft rails out of the bottom. This hull design makes for a fast stable board at high end speeds in the bumps, yet retains it's glide and momentum at low end speeds in the flats.
