Squash Tails
Squash
Tail
Squash tails have a straighter rail in the tail area, allowing more rail in
the water, which equals more resistance. This translates into more drive and speed
in smaller waves. This is the tail of choice for most small wave boards.
Bump
Squash
With the wide point and hips further back, this board is designed for flying
over the flat, weak section and small gutless waves
High
Performance Squash
5’10” to 6’6”, thin and light with correctly placed
concaved bottom gives this board maximum speed and horsepower for today’s
surfing. Thin and foiled out rails.
Pin Tails
Pin
Tail
For juicy, hollow waves. A mid range board 6’4” to 6-10”.
A little more nose and tail rocker and soft and forgiving rails gives you down
the line speed and projection to handle size and power.
Round
Pin
A round pintail allows the surfer to dictate the life of a turn. The curvy,
round tail area gives more predictability and forgiveness. The surfer gets holding
power and smooth rail-to-rail transitions.

Retro
Fish
This Progressive Retro Fish design has the speed, riding, and paddling qualities
of the original Fish designs of the 70's with today's modern design aspects built
in. The combination of twin keel fins and the "back-to-the-future" design
turns a longboard session into a "rip, tear and lacerate" session (to
quote M.R.)
For
the timeless look of yesteryear, classic twin wood keel fins with halo, along
with pigment or tint lamination and resin pinlines are available.
These designs have been proven to handle on the North Shore from 1ft. to "real"
6ft. + Sunset.
Swallow
Tail
Gives the tail area of the squash tail and the control of the pin tail with
two pin tails side by side.
Rocket
Fish
Short, wide, thin, low entry rocker. Single concave flowing into vee off the
tail with double barrel makes for a ultra fast and loose board.
The
wing swallow tail combination holds in perfect for those 1-3’ sloppy days
when you just want to get wet and rip it up. Order fishtail boards 2” shorter
than your normal short board.
